SMALL GROUP STUDIES FOR ALL AGES
Begin at 9:15 A.M. on Sunday mornings.
SUNDAY MORNING ADULT GROUPS – 9:15 AM
THE GRAVE ROBBER – MARK BATTERSON - PARLOR
On April 30, the Sunday morning group will have a wrap-up discussion of all seven weeks of our recent sermon-study series, “The Grave Robber”. We meet at 9:15 a.m. in the parlor. We plan to have a discussion about the risks taken by the individuals in our scriptures as well as take a look at what these lessons mean for us today? What risks might Jesus be asking us to take? What is the next step of faith we need to take? Feel free to join us in our wrap-up discussion.
Ladies - Tuesday Morning at 9:30 a.m.
Facilitator: Bernie Hughes, or 610-458-9726
This group will finish their study of The Grave Robber on Tuesday, April 25.
NEW STUDY - THE BOOK OF TITUS
Our traditional Sunday morning group has begun a study on the book of Titus. The study will continue through May 21.
Down through the centuries, Christians have suffered from the effects of two damaging (and opposite) problems. On the one hand, there always seems to be people who impose rules and regulations for Christians to follow. On the other hand, there have always been ‘Christians’ who don’t care about how they live, and who regard God’s forgiveness as a blank check.
How can we avoid these problems and be motivated to live a life pleasing to God? If the idea of ‘being godly’ is attractive, how can we turn our vague yearning for it into reality?
In Paul’s short letter to Titus, God reveals the path to true godliness. We are warned about the false trials and given stirring encouragement about the source of true godliness, its motivation and the shape it will take.
