We are excited to celebrate with Tim Latham his Ordination and Installation as Fairview's Pastor. The festivities will be held the afternoon of Sunday, October 4.

Ordination is a signal event in a pastor's ministry. Upon ordination, a pastor is able to administer communion, baptize, and conduct weddings. Let's show Tim, Ginny and Andrew our great appreciation and support on this special day.

In light of COVID19, planning a celebration must be thoughtfully undertaken. As such, we wish to ascertain how many of us plan to attend the ordination service. Depending on the attendee headcount, we may need to modify the current "argyle" social distancing pattern we practice for Sunday morning worship. If more attendees commit than can be safely accommodated in the Sanctuary, we may hold the service outside. The service time and location will be dependent upon the chosen alternative. Thus, you are asked to respond no later than Sunday, September 20.

Please reply via as to whether you and your family members plan to attend the Ordination and celebration, and provide your family's total expected number of attendees. Please indicate your need to rigorously abide 6' social distancing protocols. Vulnerable individuals will be offered a dedicated area

Bible Study RESUMES NEXT WEEK

Wednesday Evening Women’s Bible Study will resume September 23rd at 7:00 pm.  We will be studying the topical book Contentment by Melissa Kruger. In Contentment Melissa defines what biblical contentment is and what it means for the Christian life. She helps Christians recognize how the cultivation of contentment is fundamentally rooted in understanding and resting in the person and work of Jesus Christ. In Him, we find ultimate contentment. For more information contact Barb Finch  or call at 610-942-3735.

Bridge of Hope Neighboring Group Update

We will be meeting our Mom and her son via Zoom this Wednesday, September 23. The meeting should be for about 30 minutes. We may have some needs for the family once we meet them. Presently we are looking for housing for her and her son in the D’town, Coatesville area.
