Opportunities to Serve

Good Works Workday

We are looking at finishing and dedicating our current project in June.   Many hands are still needed to help finish.

For our next home we expect to be working out of the St. Peter’s warehouse on a home in the Northern Chester County area.   It appears that their normal workday will be the First Saturday of the month rather than the Fourth.

It looks like we would start a new home in July, however, we don’t know yet if the workday will be adjusted due to the July 4th Holiday weekend.   So stay tuned for further announcements on this.

Bagel Sunday

Anyone interested in sponsoring a Bagel Sunday the last Sunday of any month, please see Christy Pomager on Sunday or email her at  .

Canned Food Collection

Fairview EPC is partnering with The Salvation Army and Faith Alliance Church in Glenmoore and the Glenmoore Fire Hall to collect canned goods for families in need in the Glenmoore/Honey Brook/Elverson areas. They serve 60 families each week.

The Salvation Army already came and picked up our first full box of donations. Please keep in mind this is an ongoing service event so please don’t forget we need your donations.

Fairview VBS-2016 will be collecting also.

Any questions please email Jo-Ellen at   or see me in church.

Serving in the Church Nursery during Worship

We are in need of a few volunteers in the Church Nursery on Sunday mornings to help our Nursery Attendant, Nancy Finch with the children.  If you are interested you can contact Christy Pomager  at   or 619-469-6481. There is also a sign up genius available.

Help with VBS Games

Christy Pomager is looking for helpers to run “Games” the week of VBS between the hours of 9:30-11 a.m.  You can help one day or all 5 days.  Any help would be appreciated.  Please contact her at   or see her in church on Sunday!

KCup Donations

Next time you pass the K-cups in the grocery aisle why not pick up a pack and bring it with you on Sunday morning?  This would be a huge blessing! Or if you ever see a Buy One GET One sale why not Buy One and GIVE One?   We can use caffeine/decaf/tea/hot chocolate/flavored.  Any brand name is fine!!!  See you at the Keurig on Sunday!
