This is a basic home worship guide you can use to worship together in your home this Sunday. We encourage you to gather together with your family and any other neighbors or friends that might be in your home to worship with you. Choose a leader to lead the “Leader” portions. If you’re musical, feel free to sing, if not, you can just skip the singing parts!
Preparation for Worship
Leader: Almighty God, to whom all hearts are open, all desires known, and from whom no secrets are hidden. Cleanse the thoughts of our hearts by the inspiration of your Holy Spirit, that we may perfectly love you and worthily magnify your name through Christ, our Lord.
Call to Worship | Psalm 9
Leader: We will give thanks to you, O Lord, with our whole heart;
People: We will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
Leader: We will be glad and exult in you;
People: We will sing praise to your name, O Most High.
Prayers of Adoration
Spend a few minutes praising God. You could just invite people to say words out loud that characterize God and His care for us, or thank for who He is and what He has done for us.

Prayer of Confession
Leader: God of everlasting love, we confess that have been unfaithful to our covenant with you and with one another. We have worshipped other gods: money, power, greed, and convenience. We have served our own self-interest instead of serving only you and your people. We have not loved our neighbor as you have commanded, nor have we rightly loved ourselves.
People: Forgive us, gracious God and bring us back into the fullness of our covenant with you and one another, Through Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Assurance of Pardon
Leader: As far as the East is from the West, so far has He removed our transgressions from us! This is the Promise of the Lord!
People: Thanks be to God!

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son:

Leader: Christians, what do you believe?
People: I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there he shall come to judge the living and the dead.
