2017 Giving—It’s Not Too Late!!

To date, 42 families and individuals have pledged almost $170,000 during our 2017 Stewardship Campaign. Thanks so much to those who have already participated! If you have not had the opportunity to do so, please prayerfully consider making a commitment before the end of this month. With annual operating expenses that regularly exceed $300,000, your commitments are super-important in enabling Session and the Trustees set a realistic budget for 2017. Please fill out a yellow pledge card -- extras are available in the church lobby and sanctuary -- and place it in the offering plate or church office. Thanks again to everyone for your generosity!

Fairview is now part of the tithe.ly network, which allows you to make financial contributions to the church via your computer, tablet, smartphone, or other internet-connected device. You can make a one-time gift, schedule your tithe or offering in advance, and even give to specific funds, like the deacons. For more information, visit fairviewepc.org/give or contact Jim Pomager ( ).

SMALL GROUP STUDIES FOR ALL AGES

Begin at 9:15 A.M. on Sunday Mornings.

SUNDAY MORNING ADULT STUDY

Have you ever thought that when we pray, our prayers reflect an intimate communication with God and is at the heart of our relationship with Him? Perhaps you think I want to pray, but I don't know how to pray. Perhaps, you feel embarrassed or even intimidated to pray. Sometimes, we just never had anyone teach us to pray. Jesus' own disciples might have felt that way too because that's why they asked Him, "Lord, teach us to pray." If this is you, then consider joining our adult class on Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. in Fellowship Hall for a six-week DVD study on prayer.

NEW MEN’S SMALL GROUP

Our newest men's group, M.O.R.A. (Men of Retirement Age), has sprouted.  Their next meeting will be Monday November 21 at 7:30 p.m. in the church parlor. The group is using the book titled “God’s Words of Life for Men”. This book combines scriptures and inspirational thoughts on a wide variety of topics that men are faced with every day.  Discussion topics include:  anger, strength, work, finances, role-models and integrity just to name a few. For additional information contact Don at or at 610-942-8721.

Welcome to the journey!  All over the world, people are on the move, some due to natural disasters, some due to war conflicts and some because God personally invited them on His journey.  God invites us on a journey of faith.  A journey with God can be an adventure.  The Confirmation class at Fairview Evangelical Presbyterian Church is designed to assist 9-12th grade students to better understand the personal faith journey God is calling each one of them to.  On Sunday, November 20 at 9:15 am students and parents will gather for our kick-off session.  We will meet in the church parlor for this initial gathering.  Light refreshments will be provided while an overview of this confirmation journey will be shared.   For additional information contact:  Cheryl Faust at
