SMALL GROUP STUDIES FOR ALL AGES

Begin at 9:15 A.M. on Sunday Mornings.

Sunday morning lenten series

One Week Away!

It’s only one week away – the start of our church-wide Lenten Sermon and Study series.   Beginning this week, you will want to start to read “The Grave Robber” in preparation for next Sunday’s teaching about Jesus’ first miracle; turning water into wine.  It is not too late to join a small group.  See this week’s insert, complete the sign-up form and return it to the Welcome Desk in the lobby.  If you absolutely cannot be part of a small group, I would encourage you to pick up a copy of the hardback book and join with us in the reading each week.  Books are still available.  Don’t be left out.

Not connected to a group – let me help connect you with others during this seven-week series. For more information email Cheryl Faust, Small Group Coordinator.

SUNDAY MORNING ADULT STUDY

The Parables of Jesus – RC Sproul

During Jesus’ earthly ministry, one of the primary ways He would instruct His disciples was through parables. People would gather from far and wide in order to listen to what Jesus said about the kingdom of God, and the most common way He would explain the kingdom was in parables. But what does God want us to learn from these parables? In this series, Dr. R.C. Sproul examines several parables of Jesus, exploring the rich truths they reveal about who Jesus is and what He came to achieve through His life, death, and resurrection. If this is you, then consider joining our adult class on Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. in Fellowship Hall for a six-week DVD study on prayer.

MEN’S SMALL GROUP

Our newest men's group, M.O.R.A. (Men of Retirement Age), has sprouted.   The group is using the book titled “God’s Words of Life for Men”. This book combines scriptures and inspirational thoughts on a wide variety of topics that men are faced with every day.  Discussion topics include:  anger, strength, work, finances, role-models and integrity just to name a few.  This group meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesday evening of the month at 7:30 p.m. at FEPC.  For additional information email Don or call him at 610-942-8721

THIS IS AN ONGOING "SERVE" IN OUR DISCIPLESHIP PROCESS HERE AT FAIRVIEW. WORSHIP, CONNECT, KNOW AND SERVE.

James 2:22- You see that his faith and his actions were working together and his faith was made complete by what he did.

James 2:26- As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.

Thank you all who have contributed to the food bank. Bobbie and I continue to take groceries over about every 3rd Friday.

The Salvation Army representative is always thankful and the people to whom we are contributing continue to open up to us and see us as friends.  Please continue to help them in this time of need.
