Sharing Our Blessings: Let's Stock the Shelves at Glen Moore Food Pantry This Month!

As a church family, we're so grateful for the opportunity each month to extend a helping hand to our neighbors through the Glen Moore Food Pantry. It's a tangible way for us to live out Jesus' call to love and care for one another, right here in our own community. The Glen Moore Food Pantry works tirelessly to provide essential support to individuals and families facing food insecurity, and we are honored to partner with them in this vital mission.

This month, the pantry has a specific need that we can easily help fill: canned goods of all kinds, with a particular focus on canned vegetables and beans. These staples are incredibly important for providing nutritious meals to those who rely on the pantry's support.

Think about the simple act of opening a can – it's a quick and easy way to add essential nutrients to a meal. By donating canned vegetables and beans, we can help ensure that our neighbors have access to wholesome ingredients that nourish their bodies.

A Little Note on What's Needed (and What's Not):

The pantry is currently well-stocked on canned green beans, spinach, and collard greens. So, while all canned donations are appreciated, let's focus our efforts this month on other wonderful options like:

• Canned Mixed Vegetables
• Canned Kidney Beans
• Canned Black Beans
• Canned Pinto Beans
• Canned Chickpeas
• Canned Tomatoes
• Canned Fruit (packed in juice is a bonus!)
• Canned Soups and Stews
