Update from Session

The Session has some significant updates from our recent meetings that simply demand more than a quick announcement before worship. That's why Sunday, November 16th, right after worship, we're holding an informational meeting in the sanctuary. Think of this as a time to listen and ask questions; it is not a called meeting that involves a congregational vote.
As your elected Elders, we've taken our role very seriously. We've been faithfully committed to seeking God's will for our church, always keeping our mission to "go and make disciples" at the forefront.
Working alongside leaders both within and outside the EPC, we truly believe the Holy Spirit has gifted us ALL with a clear path forward to pursue that mission—not just for our congregation, but for the surrounding Glenmoore community too.
On Sunday the 16th, we'll share all the details about:
- Our process
- Our reality
- God's provision
- The decisions that have been made
The Session is incredibly blessed by so much, including
- your ceaseless prayers
- Rev. Dan Stewart's faithful leadership
- the directional guidance from the EPC and their resource - If It Dies: Why Replanting Is The Hope For Dying Churches And How You Can Lead It by Luke Johnston
- the real and powerful presence of the Holy Spirit
- a unity in our conclusions and excitement for what's next
We know you'll have questions, and we want you to ask them! That's precisely why we're gathering next week—so you can listen and engage in the conversation. We genuinely look forward to sharing more with you then.
Thank you all so much for your patience as we've waited on the Lord, your supportof the Session's work, and your continued prayers.
Grace and Peace,
The Session
