2017 Giving—Not too late!

If you were unable to join us for worship last week, there's still time to commit your time, talents, and treasure to the Lord's work for 2017. During our Consecration Sunday service, 31 families and individuals pledged over $127,000, which is an awesome start -- but still far short of what we will need to meet our expenses next year. Please support Fairview's mission by filling out your yellow commitment card and placing it in the offering plate or church office this week. (If you lost, forgot, or never received a card, extras are available on the windowsills in the sanctuary.) Thanks for giving back a small portion of the rich blessings you have received!

Fairview is now part of the tithe.ly network, which allows you to make financial contributions to the church via your computer, tablet, smartphone, or other internet-connected device. You can make a one-time gift, schedule your tithe or offering in advance, and even give to specific funds, like the deacons. For more information, visit fairviewepc.org/give or contact Jim Pomager ( ).

Opportunities to Know

SMALL GROUP STUDIES FOR ALL AGES

Begin at 9:15 A.M. on Sunday Mornings.

New Study begins this Sunday, November 6th

Have you ever thought that when we pray, our prayers reflect an intimate communication with God and is at the heart of our relationship with Him? Perhaps you think I want to pray, but I don't know how to pray. Perhaps, you feel embarrassed or even intimidated to pray. Sometimes, we just never had anyone teach us to pray. Jesus' own disciples might have felt that way too because that's why they asked Him, "Lord, teach us to pray." If this is you, then consider joining our adult class on Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. in Fellowship Hall for a six-week DVD study on prayer.

NEW MEN’S SMALL GROUP FORMING

A new men’s small group has begun to sprout. M.O.R.A. (Men of Retirement Age) will meet on Monday, November 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the church parlor. Thank you to Don Titus for answering God’s call to facilitate this group. The group will use the book titled “God’s Words of Life for Men”. This book combines scriptures and inspirational thoughts on a wide variety of topics that men are faced with such as: strength, work, finances, role-models and integrity just to name a few. For additional information contact Don at or at 610-942-8721.
