SMALL GROUP STUDIES FOR ALL AGES

Begin at 9:15 A.M. on Sunday mornings.

SUNDAY MORNING ADULT GROUPS – 9:15 AM
NEW STUDY - THE BOOK OF TITUS

Our traditional Sunday morning group has begun a study on the book of Titus.  The study will continue through May 21.

Down through the centuries, Christians have suffered from the effects of two damaging (and opposite) problems.  On the one hand, there always seems to be people who impose rules and regulations for Christians to follow.  On the other hand, there have always been ‘Christians’ who don’t care about how they live, and who regard God’s forgiveness as a blank check.

How can we avoid these problems and be motivated to live a life pleasing to God?  If the idea of ‘being godly’ is attractive, how can we turn our vague yearning for it into reality?

In Paul’s short letter to Titus, God reveals the path to true godliness.  We are warned about the false trials and given stirring encouragement about the source of true godliness, its motivation and the shape it will take.

WEEKDAY SMALL GROUPS
MEN’S SMALL GROUP - WEDNESDAY EVENING

Our newest men's group, M.O.R.A. (Men of Retirement Age), has sprouted.   The group is using the book titled “God’s Words of Life for Men”. This book combines scriptures and inspirational thoughts on a wide variety of topics that men are faced with every day.  Discussion topics include:  anger, strength, work, finances, role-models and integrity just to name a few.  This group meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday evening of the month at 7:30 p.m. at FEPC.  For additional information email Don Titus or call him at 610-942-8721

WOMEN - WEDNESDAY EVENING

The ladies Wednesday evening small group recently began a new six-week study.

They are reading and discussing the book, “Experiencing Prayer with Jesus:  The Power of His Presence and Example”

Prayer, isn’t an activity or a chore, it’s a way of life.  Jesus’ ministry was marked by a life of prayer.  This book isn’t simply just more information about prayer, but rather a leading into a life-changing encounter with Jesus.   Contact:  Barb Finch at 610-942-3735 or
