SUNDAY MORNING ADULT GROUPS – 9:15 AM

The Grave Robber – Mark Batterson  - Parlor

Join us in our church-wide sermon and study series as we read through The Grave Robber and view the sites where Jesus performed the miraculous signs found in the Gospel of John.  These seven signs point us to Jesus – the one who can make the impossible possible, even today.

Facilitators are:  Cheryl Faust and Dennis Lesher

The Parables of Jesus – RC Sproul

During Jesus’ earthly ministry, one of the primary ways He would instruct His disciples was through parables. People would gather from far and wide in order to listen to what Jesus said about the kingdom of God, and the most common way He would explain the kingdom was in parables. But what does God want us to learn from these parables? In this series, Dr. R.C. Sproul examines several parables of Jesus, exploring the rich truths they reveal about who Jesus is and what He came to achieve through His life, death, and resurrection. If this is you, then consider joining our adult class on Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. in Fellowship Hall for a six-week DVD study on prayer.

SUNDAY EVENING ADULT SMALL GROUP – 6:30 PM

The Grave Robber – Mark Batterson – home of Cheryl Faust (Coatesville area)

Want to hear the sermon message first and then view the video and discuss our readings from The Grave Robber?   Then join this small group.  There’s room for a few more.  Are you one God is prompting?

Facilitator:  Cheryl Faust

CANNED FOOD COLLECTION FOR THE SALVATION ARMY FOOD BANK

THIS IS AN ONGOING "SERVE" IN OUR DISCIPLESHIP PROCESS HERE AT FAIRVIEW. WORSHIP, CONNECT, KNOW AND SERVE.

Ephesians 2:4- For it is by Grace you have been saved through faith and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works so that no one can boast.

James 2:22- You see that his faith and his actions were working together and his faith was made complete by what he did.

James 2:26- As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.

Thank you all who have contributed to the food bank. Bobbie and I continue to take groceries over about every 3rd Friday.

The Salvation Army representative is always thankful and the people to whom we are contributing continue to open up to us and see us as friends.  Please continue to help them in this time of need.

Thank you,  Jo-Ellen Claphanson
