Opportunities to Serve

GOOD WORKS WORKDAY

Our first Northern Chester County (NCC) work day will be July 9th due to the July 4th holiday weekend. Our normal workday is the first Saturday of the month rather than the fourth. The next workday will be August 6th.

Our next home is here in Glenmoore. We will be working out of the NCC Warehouse in St. Peter's Village.

For questions and/or further details contact: Roy Adler at 610-416-5996 or Jim Palmer at 610-458-0898.

You only need to bring a willing heart. Most tools and materials are provided. Women and teens are also welcome to join us.

Watch for more details about timing and meeting location for our breakfast location.

BAGEL SUNDAY

We will be having a Bagel Sunday next Sunday, July 17th to celebrate the arrival of our new Small Groups Coordinator, Cheryl Faust.

Please plan to join us and welcome Cheryl!

Anyone interested in sponsoring a Bagel Sunday the last Sunday of any month, please see Christy Pomager on Sunday or email her at .

CANNED FOOD COLLECTION

Fairview EPC is partnering with The Salvation Army and Faith Alliance Church in Glenmoore and the Glenmoore Fire Hall to collect canned goods for families in need in the Glenmoore/Honey Brook/Elverson areas. They serve 60 families each week.

Please keep in mind this is an ongoing service event so please don't forget we need your donations!

Any questions please email Jo-Ellen at or see me in church.

Old Fashioned Fairview Church Picnic

During worship on September 11, we will ordain and/or install our new officers, and our new Small Groups Coordinator, Cheryl Faust.

After worship we will party and play games. There will be special music from our VBS program and pictures too.

Please plan to attend and bring a dish to share with friends.

Fairview is providing hamburgers, hot dogs, watermelon and s'mores.

"Connect" with your friends in Christian Fellowship, get to "Know" our new members class and if you want, please donate to our October "Serve" project of Stop Hunger Now.

A sign up sheet on the easel will be available in the foyer very soon!

Any question, please contact Jo-Ellen Claphanson.

Stop Hunger Now

FEPC and Stop Hunger Now are again partnering for a meal packing event 12pm on Saturday, October 15th in the Fellowship Hall. Meals packaged at this event will be shipped to the world's most impoverished people.

We need energetic volunteers to pack more than 10,000 meals and monetary donations to fund the $2900 event cost. Donations are accepted in green containers in the foyer or at the church office. Current donations amount to $290.

For more information or to get involved with fund raising activities, contact Matt Steiginga at 610-223-8789 or .
