SERMON TEXT:  Acts 2:42-47
SERMON TITLE:   "A Model Church"  // Rev. Paul Toms

This service will be available via Live Stream on our Facebook page starting at 10:30 a.m..   If you will be worshiping with us live, you can follow along with this week's bulletin

COMMON QUESTIONS:
“What if I don’t have a Facebook account?” You don’t need one to access the streamed worship services linked above.
"What about last week’s sermon?" All sermons are made available on our website. The most recent sermon is always available toward the bottom of the homepage.  Previous sermons are always available in our Sermon Library.
“Can I see previous worship services? The whole service… not just the sermon?”  Yes…all previous Worship Services that were streamed live, can be found on Fairview’s FaceBook live videos page.

Among your 2021 offering envelopes you will find one labelled “Per Capita Apportionment.” What is a per capita apportionment, anyway? It's a term our former denomination, the PC(USA), uses for what is essentially a yearly tax it imposes on each member of its churches. Our current denomination, the EPC, does not believe that one "court" of the church has the right to put a tax on another. So instead it asks for a voluntary contribution, which it calls a "per member asking" (PMA), from local congregations to fund its mission. Unfortunately, our envelope provider still prints the old, incorrect term on our envelopes -- sorry for the confusion.

Whether you use offering envelopes or not, the EPC PMA for 2020 is $36. Please support our denomination's work by contributing the PMA for all members of your household. (For instance, a family of four would give $144.) You can submit the PMA by using the per capita apportionment envelope, by writing "PMA" in the memo line of a personal check, or by selecting the PMA option from the Give to dropdown in Tithe.ly (if you want to give electronically, see our Give page).

glenmoore food pantry needs your donations

Please feel free to drop your donations by the church during office hours Tuesday thru Friday.  You may leave them at the side door or put them in the box in the foyer.  Thank you for your contributions.

With so many families in our area impacted by the Covid virus, last summer the deacons decided to use some of our funds to help supply the local food pantry in Glenmoore. Glenmoore only accepts food donations, so we loaded up our trunks with bulk food we purchased from Costco and BJs.
As the summer and virus continued, we included monetary donations to other local organizations feeding the hungry, including the Chester County Food Bank and the Water Street Rescue Mission, for a grand total of $3508.
The deacons will continue to support our local food banks as long as the need continues. You can be part of this important work by bringing food and paper supplies to church and depositing them in the lobby, or you can donate to the deacon’s fund using the envelopes provided in the pews.
Thank you,  The Fairview Deacons
